1. The objective for this project is to look for the potential of small hydropower development in Korea,
formulates a hydropower development strategy, and also aims to set up the medium and long term
plan for small hydropower development in Korea
2. Potential sites for small hydropower development
(1) All rivers and streams with existing bank of 2m height and planned bank with 2m height
(2) Dam sites with a facility over 10,000,000㎥ and continuously discharge water without generation
(3) Water supply facility including waste water facility with over 200,000㎥
(4) Modernization of exsisting K-water's small withhydropower plants(17 sites)
